Adamstown Cricket Club - history

New cricket club formed in Adamstown

Adamstown Cricket Club
was formally found on 23rd April 2009. The idea to form the club was found in the household of Meena and Olag, following frequent visits of Brian O'Rourke to the Adamstown Castle Educate Together National School. Following this Meena and Olag called for a meeting of volunteers on 23rd April 2009 at the Adamstown Castle Educate Together National School. An unanimous decision to form a cricket club was taken on that meeting. It was decided the club will be called as Adamstown Cricket Club. All the members of that meeting were to be founding members of the club and Olag to be the Chair.
